CHADRON – Chadron State College senior safety Trelan Taylor has been suspended for the first six games in the 2013 football season by the NCAA, athletic director Joel R. Smith announced.
 
After an internal review by Chadron State it was discovered Taylor was not eligible to compete during the fall 2011 season. The information was submitted to the NCAA and it was determined Taylor would serve a six-game suspension. He'll be able to return to the Eagles the seventh week of the season.
