CHADRON, Neb. -- May 19, 2016 -- Chadron State College women's basketball coaching assistant
Janet Raymer announced one more addition to the 2016 signing class. Kalli Feddersen of Rawlins, Wyoming, will join the Eagles for 2016-17.
Feddersen's parents are both CSC athletics alum, with Shelley Stahl having played for the volleyball team from 1990-1992, and her father, J.J. Feddersen, is in the CSC Hall of Fame after starting four years on the men's basketball team from 1990-94.
The younger Feddersen was the top guard last season for the Western Nebraska Community College Cougars, who won the Region IX South title both seasons she played. She averaged 10.2 points per game while shooting over 40 percent. Feddersen had a career shooting percentage of 41 percent in her two years in Scottsbluff.
As a prep standout in Rawlins, Wyoming, she was a two-time All-State selection as a sophomore and a junior, scoring more than 20 points per game in 2012-13. Her high school career was cut short, however, by an ACL tear prior to her senior season. She also earned All-State honors in volleyball her junior year.
Fedderson joins
Angela Vigil who she played with for the 2014-15 season at WNCC. She is the fourth player signed in 2016 together with Kendra Baucom, Avery Taylor, and Madison Taylor.
