Biography
2018--A good addition to the team after transferring from Dodge City Community College in Kansas, where he had spent his freshman year. Placed eighth in the heptathlon and seventh in the decathlon at the RMAC Meets. He was the first to cross the finish list in the final event in both competitions--the 1000 indoors and the 1500 outdoors. He’ll probably run on the Eagles’ 4x400 relay teams.
Before Chadron State—Participated in all sports at Yuma High and was a middle distance runner at Dodge City.
Personal--Son of Tom Thurston. A business major.
