2011-12: One of the returning leaders for the Eagles … Went 11-13 last season at 197 pounds but had his biggest win of his career when he knocked off Adams State’s Luke McPeek in a dual … McPeek later won the 197-pound title at the NCAA Division II National Championship … Leak narrowly missed qualifying for the national championship himself after losing the fifth place match at the RMAC West Regional in Hays, Kan. … Has a career record of 49 wins and 54 losses.
2010-11: He had a record of 20 wins and 20 losses and just missed qualifying for the national tournament … He finished sixth at the RMAC/West Regional … He led the team with 51 escapes and won four of his matches by pinning his opponents.
2009-10: Finished in sixth place at the RMAC/West Regional, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the national tournament … He had one of the best records on the team, posting an 18-21 mark, including six wins by pinfall … He led the team with 12 reversals and was second with 32 escapes.
2008-09: Redshirted during his first season at Chadron State and had a 5-12 record while wrestling in open tournaments at 184 pounds.
High School: Came to CSC from Boys Town’s strong wrestling program … Was a three-time medalist in Class B at the Nebraska State Tourney … He placed sixth as a sophomore, fifth as a junior and was the runner-up as a senior … All of his medals came at 189 pounds … He also wrestled as a freshman in his home state of North Carolina, posting a record of 27-10 … His cumulative high school record was 125-26.
