2011-12: Went 7-15 at 157 pounds during his first season at Chadron State … He was particularly effective pinning his opponents, finishing with six on the season.
Before CSC: He competed at UNK for three years, including a redshirt season … He was a reserve starter but he did earn 16 victories by pinning his foes.
High School:  A three-time placer at the Nebraska State tourney … Finished high school with a record of 120-15 and owns the pin record at Sargent High (86) … His father, Scott, was his coach.
