2016—Entering his senior season, here are Dittbenner’s career-best marks in each of the multi-events he enters:  Heptathlon—60 dash—7.21 seconds, 60 hurdles—8.75, 1000—2:57.98, shot put—35-10, long jump—22-2 ¼, high jump—6-1 ¾, pole vault—12-1 ¾.  Decathlon: 100—11.50, 110 hurdles—15.27, 400—50.06, 1500—4:46.01, shot put—35-3 ½, discus—106-0, javelin—126-1, long jump—21-11, high jump—6- ¾, pole vault—12-7 ½.
2015—Redshirted so he could work on several of events in hopes to earn enough points in the heptathlon and decathlon to qualify for the National Meets.
2014—Won both the RMAC heptathlon with 4,788 points and the decathlon with 6,369 points.  Those totals are fourth and fifth, respectively, on the Eagles’ all-time charts, and are enough to provisionally qualify for nationals, but not enough to actually get him there.
2013—Placed second in the RMAC heptathlon with 4,381 points, then won the decathlon at the RMAC Meet, which had 12 entries, with 5,911 points. He was first in the long jump (20-11 ½), second in the 110 hurdles (15.90) and vaulted 12-7 ½.
2012: Was sixth among eight contestants in the RMAC heptathlon with 4,371 points…Finished fourth among eight entries in the decathlon at the RMAC Meet with 5,580 points…Was second in the 100 in 11.75 and shared second in the pole vault at 11-4 ½. 
High School: Was a solid, all-around athlete at Mitchell…Had bests of 22.84 in the 200 meters and 51.84 in the 400.
Personal:  Hunter is the cousin of former CSC head coach Ryan Baily, who was the RMAC decathlon champion in 2001. Son of Brenda Bergstrom…Born March 10, 1993…A rangeland management major.
