Chad was an outstanding middle linebacker for the Eagles. He led the team in tackles each of his final three seasons, finishing with a total of 371. That was the Eagles’ second highest total when he graduated and now ranks third on the all-time chart behind only Kevin Homer and Corey Anderson. He was named to the Omaha World-Herald’s Nebraska NCAA Division II all-star teams in both 1992 and 1994 and was selected by his teammates as the team’s outstanding defensive player as a senior in 1994. He was placed on the RMAC second-team all-conference team each of his final three years.
Chad is a partner in the family’s ranching operation in southern Sioux County. He is married to a neighbor girl, the former Carlyle Laucomer. They have two children, Quincey and Sullivan.
