Chase Olsen was one of the three all-star offensive linemen for the Eagles in 2006, when they averaged 420 yards of total offense and 37 points a game, scored in 46 of their 51 red zone opportunities and allowed 11 sacks in 13 games.

A native of Sidney, Nebraska, Olsen started the final seven games at left tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2004. He missed the second half of both of the next two seasons because of injuries, but was injury-free at right tackle as a senior in 2006, when the Eagles had their great season. Playing at 6-4, 295 pounds, he owned the Eagles’ best time of 4.97 seconds in the 40-yard dash for an offensive lineman through the 2019 season.

At the end of his senior year, Olsen was placed on the All-RMAC and All-Nebraska First Teams along with Klinetobe and Lee and was placed on the Daktronics All-Southwest Region Second-Team while also earning Second-Team All-District Academic honors.

After three years in the Liberal, Kan., Schools, Chase has been a teacher and coach at Kelly Walsh High School at Casper since 2014.  He and his wife, April Roes of Hemingford, have two sons.
