A tailback, Corey rushed for at least 100 yards in 17 games and for 3,258 yards during his career. He earned lots of honors. They included being one of 24 players from all divisions named to Successful Farming Magazine’s All-American Farm Football Team in 1995. He also was a Burger King Athlete of the Week, earning $25,000 for the college’s scholarship fund. In addition, he was a two-time all-conference and a two-time Nebraska NCAA II selection. He also was a second-team all-West Regional choice twice and was Chadron State’s RMAC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year twice. Other honors included being a second-team Academic All-American as a junior and a first-team choice as a senior. Corey is a chiropractor at the Nebraska Spine Center in Omaha. He and his wife Brooke have two daughters.
