Jason was the second of three Robinson brothers to play basketball for the Eagles. His older brother, Josh, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. Jason was a four-year starter and averaged in double figures in scoring all four years. He made 48.1 percent of his field goal attempts and 67.3 percent of his free throws during his career. He finished with 1,581 points, fourth highest on CSC’s all-time list. He also averaged 4.9 rebounds during his careers and ranked second in the RMAC in steals with 56 his senior season.
Jason earned first-team all-RMAC honors and was first-team on the World-Herald’s Nebraska NCAA Division II all-star team as a senior in 1993-94. The Eagles finished at 17-10 overall and were 9-3 and tied for first in the RMAC that season.
He died in May of 2013 after battling lymphoma.
His wife, Tresha Hill, was also a CSC graduate. They have three children, Ty, Truitt and Tanner.
