Jeremy Eardley of Mountain View, Wyoming, took over as the starter at offensive right guard as a redshirt freshman in 1998 and remained in the offensive line playing both guard and center the remainder of his career.

Chadron State had a 34-10 cumulative record during Eardley’s four years on the team and won or shared three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championships. When he was a senior in 2001, the Eagles went 10-0.

In 2001, the Eagles averaged 463.5 yards, the second highest all-time at CSC, and 42.3 points, the most in school history.

As both a junior and a senior, Eardley earned first-team all-conference and was placed on the Nebraska NCAA Division II team. Also during his final year, Eardley became just the second Chadron State player named to the American Football Coaches Association’s All-American team. The Associated Press also accorded him First-Team All-American that season, while D2Football.com and Football Gazette placed him on the second team.

He was an industrial technology major at Chadron State. Both he and his wife, Kayce, graduated from CSC in 2001. They have two children, Carson and Reagan. Jeremy is a trona miner and also helps operate the family ranch.
