Jordan Johnson was an All-American wrestler for CSC with 91 career wins, ranking him 15th in program history. In 2004, competing in the 165-pound weight class, the senior from Oakland, Nebraska, who graduated from West Point High, claimed the NCAA Division II West Regional championship, qualifying for nationals. Johnson went 3-2 at the NCAA Championships in Mankato, Minnesota, winning the seventh place match. He finished the season at 37-13, tying him for third all-time at CSC for most single-season wins. He was also named an Academic All-American following his junior season by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. Johnson qualified for nationals in each of his final three seasons.

After leaving CSC, Johnson briefly pursued a mixed martial arts career, going 6-4 in 10 fights. In 2016 he won a wrestling competition at the 32nd Annual Cornhusker State Games.

Johnson now resides in Beatrice, Nebraska, where he teaches and coaches wrestling at Beatrice High. Previously he coached at Lexington High, Cross County Public Schools, and the University of Nebraska at Kearney, as a graduate assistant.

He is married to Lacey Johnson, and the couple have six children: Emma, Jacob, Merrick, Aubrey, Titus, and Lucy.
