Lacy started at point guard for the Eagles three years after transferring from Dodge City Community College. She was a fine player her first two years at CSC, then had a break-out season as a senior when she averaged 18.9 points and helped the Eagles tie for the RMAC championship and win the conference tournament. She was named the MVP of the tournament and the RMAC and Nebraska NCAA Division II Player of the Year. Lacy has put her degree in English to good use, serving as an assistant sports information director at Oral Roberts University and a communications writer at Texas State Technical College before taking her present job as an assistant director in the Office of Research and Economic Development at the University of North Texas. She and her husband Jimmy live at Flower Mound, Texas.
