Scott ranked with the best placekickers in the country during his career. He made 46 of 69 field goals and 116 of 128 extra points for a total of 254 points. That is still fifth on the all-time CSC list. As a junior, he earned first team all-conference, Nebraska NCAA II and West Region honors and was the Division II first-team All American and second-team Associated Press Little All-American. He repeated as an all-Nebraska choice as a senior. He boomed 50, 52 and 54-yard field goals during his career and played in the Snow Bowl, the Division II all-star game, in 1996. Scott lives in Casper, where he is self-employed.
