Travis Peak ended his wrestling career in style with an All-American finish at the 2004 national tournament. Peak’s senior season was the highlight of a great career with the Eagles. He went 32-12 in 2004 and had a career record of 80-44.

He competed at 149 pounds as a sophomore and went 18-17. As a junior, he moved up to 157 and went 30-16, earned the Eagles’ Most Improved Wrestler Award and qualified for the National Tournament by placing fourth at the West Regional Tourney.

As a senior in 2003-04, Peak again was selected the Most Improved and voted the Most Valuable team member. At Nationals, he won his first two matches before finishing in sixth place.

Peak was a two-time All-Academic wrestler and graduated with a bachelor of art degree. He’s won numerous awards for his art and taught the subject at Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Wyoming, as of 2019. He has earned coaching accolades, as well, and led Kelly Walsh to its first Class 4A Wyoming State Wrestling tournament championship in 2018-19. He and his wife Sarah have three children, Rowyn, Remi, and Ryder.
