Nicky Banzhaf finished 24th in the women's 6 kilometer race to lead the Eagles at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships in Canyon, Texas, on Saturday. Her time of 22:27.0 was a personal best and second in program history only to former CSC track and field All-America Stacy Girard, by less than 30 seconds. For her 24th place finish, she was named All-Region by the USTFCCCA on Monday. Previously CSC had no All-Region winners in cross country except Girard. The CSC women were eighth in the team competition.
