Stansbury's race on Saturday saw the senior runner from Crawford go whizzing by half the field en route to a top 30 finish at the prestigious Roy Griak Invite, hosted by the University of Minnesota. Just past the three minute mark he had settled into the middle of the race, which numbered nearly 500 contestants. Over the next 24 minutes, Stansbury would run past over 200 of them to finish 27th in a time of 27:02.0. He overtook exactly 100 opponents in just the one-third of a mile or so between his one-kilometer mark and his one-mile mark, a span of under two minutes.
