Chadron's own Alpine Hickstein was the top player of the 29 who finished the South Dakota Mines Invitational tourney in Rapid City. After firing an 80 on Monday, she held on to win by two strokes over Black Hills State's Kiley Phares with an 86 on Tuesday for a winning total of 166. The Eagles took the team title by shooting 344-343-687 with only the bare minimum of four golfers competing.
