Freshman Morgan Fawver ran the 60 meter dash in 6.86 seconds on Saturday at the Myrle Hanson Open in Spearfish. If not for an altitude adjustment of 0.02, it would have qualified him provisionally for nationals. He now ranks eighth nationally in that event. Fawver also obtained the 21st-best mark nationally in the 200. He won both events.
