CSC volleyball team beats North Dakota foe

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SPEARFISH, S.D. – Ten ace serves and 14 blocks helped the Chadron State College volleyball team defeat the University of Mary of North Dakota three sets for one Saturday at the Black Hills State Invitational Tournament in Spearfish.

Middle hitter Mallory Irvine led the Eagles with 11 kills.

Jessica Jester, Mollie Jones and Lexi Hoagland each had seven kills. Libero Kristina Harter came up with 29 digs.

Later in the day, Augustana University swept the Eagles in three sets.  Irvine and Jester each had seven kills to pace CSC.

The Eagles are 2-6 for the season. They will open play in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference by playing at Colorado Christian and Colorado Mines on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
