CHADRON – The Chadron State College wrestling team is on the road this weekend for a pair of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference duals.
The Eagles will take on New Mexico Highlands in Las Vegas on Thursday night and tangle with Adams State in Alamosa on Friday night.
CSC interim head coach
Brett Hunter said both teams will be a challenge for his young team. Adams State has three wrestlers who are among the top eight in their weight classes in the latest NCAA Division II rankings and Highlands has added some competitive newcomers, according to Hunter.
Adams State edged the Eagles 20-17, but CSC beat the Highlands Cowboys 38-13 in last year's duals. The Eagles are 5-5 overall and 1-2 in RMAC duals this season.
