Eagles hosting three matches this week

CHADRON – The Chadron State College volleyball team will close out its home matches this week by hosting three matches.

The Eagles (4-18, 1-12 RMAC) will host South Dakota School of Mines in a non-conference match Tuesday before welcoming conference foes Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Christian Friday at Saturday.

The matches on Tuesday and Friday begin at 6 p.m., while Saturday's match against CCU starts at 5 p.m.

CSC and South Dakota School of Mines met in early October in Rapid City. The Hardrockers won in four sets. Before Tuesday's match, members of the Chadron State faculty and staff that have had a positive effect on each member of the volleyball team will be recognized.

The Eagles have also played Colorado Christian and nationally-ranked Colorado Mines. The Cougars swept CSC but the Eagles took a set from the Orediggers.

Prior to Saturday's match, the Chadron State seniors – Jessica Jester and Barbie DeCent – will be honored.
