Box Score RAPID CITY, S.D. – Samantha Johnson had 17 kills and Hannah Redman added eight more to lead South Dakota School of Mines to a four set (25-20, 18-25, 25-17, 25-16) non-conference victory over Chadron State Tuesday in the King Center.

Johnson led all attackers with 17 kills and five blocks but the Hardrockers, now 6-11 overall, had a balanced offensive attack. Redman had eight kills and added 15 digs, and three others had at least four kills.

For the match, South Dakota Mines hit .169 and assisted on 18 blocks.

Jessica Jester led Chadron State (3-12) with 11 kills, while
Erika Roybal had 10.
Barbie DeCent also had a strong match, finishing with eight kills and 18 digs.
