SIOUX FALLS, S.D – Both the Air Force Academy and Augustana College won dual matches over the Chadron State College wrestling team here Friday afternoon.
 
The Air Force Academy Falcons won 28-6 and the Augustana Vikings took a 30-18 decision.
 
The Eagles' Dustin Stodola, a 133-pound senior from Clarks, Neb., won both of his matches to boost his record for the young season to 7-0. He initially edged Gregory Rinker of the Air Force Academy 9-3 and then pinned Augustana's Blake Jans in 1:46.
 
The Eagles' other winner against the Falcons was redshirt freshman Taylor Summers of Plymouth, Neb., who bested Cassidy Oshiro 6-4 at 125 pounds.
 
The Eagles also competed well against the Division I Falcons in the remaining seven matches that took place, giving up bonus points in only one.
 
Besides Stodola, Chadron State's other winners against Augustana were twins Dylan and Devan Fors at 174 and 197 pounds, respectively, and heavyweight Rulon Taylor.
 
Dylan Fors was a 3-1 winner over Drake Fanslau and Devan Fors took a 5-2 decision over Jeff Nielsen. Taylor received a medical forfeit when his opponent was injured during their match.
 
Injuries that the Eagles sustained during matches the previous weekend kept Chadron State from being at full strength for the duals. Three CSC starters, C.J. Clark at 157 pounds, Jordan Debus at 184 and Michael Hill at heavyweight, were withheld from the competition.  
 
The Eagles' next action will be on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Holiday Inn Open hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
