Box Score 2 PUEBLO, Colo. – The Chadron State College volleyball team came up short in two four-set matches during the final day of the Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderWolves' Classic.

Southwest Baptist hit .147 and had 26 total blocks en route to its 25-14, 25-17, 17-25, 25-20 win; Lindenwood hit .217 in its 25-19, 25-19, 19-25, 25-16 victory.

The Eagles received a solid effort from
Jessica Jester and
Barbie DeCent against Southwest Baptist. Jester, a senior from Cheyenne, Wyo., had a team-high 12 kills and three blocks, while DeCent provided 11 kills and 11 digs.

Also for Chadron State,
Justine Ackie had 27 set assists and 18 digs,
Hanna Flaming had eight kills and
Alia Brennan finished with seven.

In the second match against Lindenwood, Jester again paced the Eagles' offense with 13 kills.
Erika Roybal added 10 more but the Lady Lions hit .217 and took advantage of eight CSC service errors to claim the victory.

After playing its first eight matches of the season on the road, Chadron State will host its next four matches at home, beginning Friday against Metro State. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
