GREELEY, COLO.—A trio of Northern Colorado players combined to sink 16 of 23 field goal shots and all nine of their free throws Friday night while leading the Bears to a 95-56 victory over Chadron State in the season-opener for both teams.

Jordan Wilson, a 5-foot-7 sophomore, was five of seven from the field and five of five from the line for a game-high 16 points, Tim Huskisson was five of eight and four of four for 14 points and Dominque Lee was six of eight from the field for 12 points for the Bears.

Huskisson and Lee, both 6-5 seniors, also combined for 17 rebounds with Huskisson grabbing a game-high nine.

The Bears led 50-30 at halftime. Â They shot better than 50 percent from the field each half while finishing the game 35 of 65 for 53.8 percent. Â They also meshed 22 of 25 free throws.

The Eagles made just 15 of 49 field goal tries for 30.6 percent and were 19 of 35 from the line.

Davante McCallam led Chadron State with 10 points and six rebounds. Â Senior guards Chris Smith and
Evan Brooks each finished with nine points.
