Box Score DENVER – Colorado Christian University's Taylor Torres and Kate Louthan scored 21 points each en route to their 81-61 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory over Chadron State Friday.
The Cougars jumped on an early 12-0 lead in the first half and sank 12 of 33 shots from the field to lead 32-25 at the half.
In the start of the second half,
Hattie Guzman sank a 3-pointer to make it a 4-point game, but the Cougars came out with hot hands shooting 43 percent from the field and made eight of 10 from the charity stripe.
Colorado Christian University led by as many as 26 for the remainer of the second half to seal its 12
th win of the season.
Chadron State shot 37 percent from the field and committed 22 turnovers for the game.
Kattie Ranta had the only double-double from either team charting 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Kayli Rageth chalked up 13 points and
Dallas Shaw added 10.
Greer Babbe also chipped in seven rebounds for the Eagles.
Chadron State wraps up its last road game of the season against Colorado Mines tomorrow at 5 p.m.
