A: The hurdles. That is what I came to college for.
Q: What would you say is the most important thing about being a part of this team?
A: First of all team spirit. Second would be contributing and giving your all.
Q: If you could be any animal what would it be?
A: I would be a horse because I think it symbolizes my speed and strength and my ability to learn.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in the offseason?
A: Music. I compose, play and sing. I am a performer.
Q: How would you define your personality?
A: People stereotype me as judgmental or self-centered, but I am just honest and telling the truth. I am easy going and outspoken. I love being around genuine people because I am a genuine person.
Questions and Answers with Casey PolkQ: How long have you played softball for?
A: I've played softball for 14 years.
Q: How did you get started? What motivates you to keep playing?
A: Softball runs in the family and I knew it was something that I always wanted to do. My family and my team (motivates me). It's nice having the continuous love and support from my family and having 19 other girls playing the sport they love by my side.
Q: Who is your favorite Disney character?
A: Ariel
Q: What is your goal for the season?
A: My goal for the team is to make it to the RMAC championship.
Q: Where would you say is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
A: Definitely Italy. I went there for a soccer tournament I was playing in.
