CHADRON, Neb. - Chadron State College women's and men's basketball programs, in conjunction with student organization The Nest, will host an Open House event on Thursday, October 29, at 7 p.m. in the Chicoine Center on CSC's campus. Students are encouraged to attend wearing their Halloween costume of choice.

Fans will also have an opportunity to purchase season tickets and "meet their seats" in the arena. Season basketball tickets for 2015-16 start at $55 for adults, $40 for children/seniors. See the form below for reserved seating and Eagle Booster Club pricing, in addition to a seating chart.

This free event combines men's and women's basketball scrimmages, along with dunk and three-point contests, followed by contests and prizes for students. Two 10-minute scrimmages - first the men, then the women - will start things off at 7 p.m. After the scrimmages, the basketball teams will compete in a Slam Dunk Contest and a Three-Point Contest, both scheduled for 10 minutes apiece.

The Nest will then sponsor a costume contest, in which several top costumes will be selected for judging by the audience. The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to Outlaw Printers. Two additional certificates of $30 each will be raffled off to students in attendance.

Finally, a Half-Court Shot contest will give a lucky student the opportunity to win free books for a semester by making a shot from midcourt.

Both women's and men's basketball posted a 10th place finish in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in 2014-15. The women return four regular starters and seven letterwinners overall, while the men return only two starters and five letterwinners.
