ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Chadron State College wrestling team got back on the winning side of things by earning a 27-17 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual victory over Adams State University Friday in Alamosa.

The Eagles, now 8-8 overall and 2-3 in the conference, shrugged off a disappointing loss to New Mexico Highlands Thursday in fine fashion against the Grizzlies. Three CSC grapplers earned bonus points and three others picked up decisions during the competition.

Reed Burgener at 157 pounds and
Devan Fors at 197 both picked up pins for the Eagles. Burgener's came late in the third period over Jacob Deaguero and
Devan Fors bested Amer Tipura just 1 minute, 31 seconds into their bout at 197.

Taylor Summers at 133 also earned bonus points for the Eagles by claiming a forfeit victory.

Zack Denney,
Jacob Anderson and
Jake Weber all won by decision for CSC. Denney won 5-0 at 141, Anderson claimed a 6-4 decision at 149 and Weber won 5-2 at heavyweight.
