DURANGO, Colo. -- January 30, 2016 -- The Chadron State College women's basketball team (7-12, 7-8 RMAC) put together a solid fourth quarter effort, but they could not overcome a deficit that reached 36 by the start of the fourth quarter. The Skyhawks (12-8, 8-7 RMAC) took the 78-51 decision to win the battle of .500 RMAC teams.
The Eagles were blanked from the three-point line, going 0 for 13 on the night. Seven different CSC players fired from long range.
Despite a difficult first and second quarter, Chadron State led the Skyhawks shooting 37.5% to 31.4% from the floor in the second half.
FLC sophomore guard Dallas Dickerson came off the bench with a double-double, scoring 17 and grabbing 10 rebounds. Astrea Reed led all scorers with 18 points. Fort Lewis went deep into their bench, with 11 of 12 active players scoring.
