Box Score SALT LAKE CITY -- Sydnee Simmons and Audrey Green each had 19 and 17 kills respectively for Westminster as the Griffins downed CSC in four sets Saturday night, 25-20, 25-20, 20-25, 25-23.

Simmons hit .548 and the Griffins hit .260 as a team, while the Eagles hit .183.

Brooke Gardner led CSC with 14 kills, followed closely by Aracely Hernadez with 13 and
Shelby Schouten with 11.
Chandler Hageman and
Timmi Keisel had eight and six kills respectively, with each hitting .333.

Aggie Roese-Olsen had a match high 56 assists for the Griffins and Green and Hannah Stearman each had 24 digs.

Ashton Burditt had a match high 30 digs for the Eagles, followed by
Karli Noble with 17. Setter
Madison Webb finished with a double-double, recording 49 assists and 14 digs.

In set one, the Griffins took the lead for good after trailing 4-3. The Eagles led 15-14 in set two, but Westminster scored three straight on their way to the victory.

The Eagles never trailed in set three and held a 21-12 lead before winning. The final set saw seven ties and three lead changes, the final being at 21, before the Griffins capitalized on CSC's attack errors for the match win.

The loss drops Chadron State's record to 5-14 overall and 3-7 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

The Eagles return home to face Colorado State-Pueblo Friday night and New Mexico Highlands on Saturday in the Chicoine Center. Both matches are set to begin at 6 p.m.
