After sweeping the South Dakota teams last weekend, the Chadron State College volleyball team returns home during Friends and Family Weekend to face Westminster College and Dixie State Friday and Saturday.
 
Both matches are set to begin at 6 p.m. Volleyball player's parents and guardians will be recognized prior to the match on Saturday.
 
The Eagle's first opponent, Westminster, has a 3-14 record and is 0-9 in RMAC play. They have lost to five opponents that CSC has defeated.
 
Audrey Green leads the Griffins with 201 kills, an average of 3.35 per set. Green also leads the team with 15 service aces.
 
Setter Aggie Roese-Olsen has 287 assists this year.
 
Defensively, Hannah Stearman leads Westminster with 249 digs, while Sydnee Simmons has 30 blocks on the season.
 
The Griffins are coached by first year head coach Karrin Moore, who has five seniors on her roster.
 
Dixie State is ranked third in the RMAC currently, after starting the season 12-5 overall and 7-2 in conference play. The Trailblazers two RMAC loses were to Colorado Mesa in three sets and Adams State in four.
 
To'a Faleao and Megan Treanor pace Dixie State in kills, with 147 and 146, respectively. Faleao leads the team with 3.34 kills per set. Setter Jordyn Nelson has 409 assists.
 
Defensively, Mykenna Nelson has 302 digs, an average of 4.87 per set. Lauren Gammell has 79 blocks on the season, ranking her first in the RMAC for total blocks. CSC's Chandler Hageman is second with 77.
 
Chadron State ranks fourth in the conference in opponent hitting percentage, holding their opponents to .171, while Dixie has held their opponents to .150, good enough for second.
 
Prior to Friday's match, there will be an Event Information Booth in the Chicoine Center lobby from 4-6. Saturday, the Chadron State Wrestling team will hold a public practice on the Chicoine Plaza and the CSC Football team plays host to Texas – Permian Basin at noon.
