The Regis University volleyball team defeated Chadron State in three sets Saturday afternoon in Denver, 25-10, 25-19, 25-22. The Rangers were ranked 12
th in the most recent national poll.

"Tonight we battled well against a good team in the last set," Head Coach
Jennifer Stadler said.

As a team, CSC had their second lowest attack percentage of the season at .071, compared to Regis's .271.

Kelly Murphy led the Eagles with eight kills.
Shelby Schouten followed behind with six kills.
Tori Strickbine recorded 15 assists.

Ashton Burditt had 11 digs in the loss, while
Chandler Hageman and Schouten each had three blocks.

Two players recorded double-digit kills for the Rangers. Caitlyn Burroway and Isabelle Gosar each had 11 kills. Gosar had a match high attack percentage of .600. Silvia Basso had a match high 32 assists.

Four different players recorded double-digit digs for Regis and Kristen Hornung had six blocks.

"We need to continue to get better in our defensive system and control our side of the net," Stadler said. "We saw some moments this weekend, just not consistently."

With the loss, Chadron State falls to 8-4 on the season and 2-2 in the conference.
