CHADRON, Neb. December 16, 2022 -- The Chadron State College men's wrestling team was forced to abandon its plans to compete at the prestigious Midwest Classic tournament in Indianapolis, due to its inability to reach the Rapid City, South Dakota, airport on Thursday.

The tournament is still set to proceed as scheduled. Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, also ruled out its travel plans to Indianapolis.

The Eagles compete next in a dual at in-state foe York University, in a co-ed dual alongside the CSC women's team on January 7. Both begin concurrently at 11 a.m. MT.
