CHADRON, Neb. -- The #15 Chadron State College men's wrestling team hosts Adams State in a high anticipated dual Friday night at 6 p.m., in the Chicoine Center.

The Eagles are currently 7-1 overall and 5-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference duals. The Grizzlies are 4-2 overall and 2-1 in conference duals.

CSC is currently ranked first in the conference with the perfect RMAC record, two spots ahead of the Grizzlies. The RMAC regular season title is based solely off of conference records so a win for Chadron State on Friday would greatly improve the chances of winning a conference championship. After the bout with the Grizzlies, the Eagles will have a match up with the 1-1 CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves and the 0-5 Simon Fraser Red Leafs later in February.

The Grizzlies enter Friday's dual with six ranked wrestlers, creating three ranked matchups.

Isaiah Games (125 lbs) is #17, Angel Flores (141 lbs) is #10, Nic Carrasco (157 lbs) is #20, Sam Loera III (174 lbs) is #20 and Ben Tonnenson (197 lbs) is #12/14 in the rankings for Adams State.

Flores earned the RMAC Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday for the Grizzlies.

Chadron State also has six nationally ranked wrestlers, creating the ranked matchups at 125, 141 and 174 pounds.

#8/10
Quade Smith will fill the lineup at 125 pounds and #12
Ethan Leake will wrestler for the Eagles at 141. The final ranked matchup will include #12/13
Logan Berger at 174 pounds.

Last weekend, the Eagles defeated Western Colorado in Gunnison, Colorado for the first time in 29 years and were victorious over Colorado Mesa for the first time in five years.
