Randolph, Cool Named Honorable Mention All-RMAC

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Isaiah Randolph and Jadon Cool both earned Honorable Mention All-RMAC nods from a vote of the league's head coaches as the conference announced their men's basketball all-conference teams on Thursday. It is the first career All-RMAC selection for both players, who are each in their first seasons at Chadron State.

The RMAC also announced the women's basketball all-conference teams earlier Thursday morning, with no representatives for Chadron State.

Randolph averaged 14.0 points per game (18th in RMAC) and was among the league's most efficient shooters, ranking eighth in the RMAC in field goal percentage (49.8 percent) and sixth in free-throw percentage (85.9 percent). Randolph had seven 20-point games, including a season-high 29 against New Mexico Highlands on January 17 and three straight against Black Hills, South Dakota Mines and Colorado Christian from January 27-February 5. Randolph excelled at free-throw volume as well as percentage, attempting the fifth-most foul shots in the league with 142 and twice taking 17 foul shots in a single game.

The Long Island, New York native, who previously played at Hill College and Eastern New Mexico, concluded his college career with the Eagles this season and put up 25 points, eight rebounds and a season-high six assists on his Senior Day against Westminster, helping lead CSC to an overtime win. For the season, Randolph also led the Eagles in assists (65) and steals (42).

Jadon Cool narrowly edged out Randolph to finish as CSC's leading scorer at 14.4 points per contest (14th in RMAC). Cool finished with five 20-point games on the season but also scored exactly 19 points on five different occasions as well. Cool, who hails from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, led the Eagles in three-point makes (47) and attempts (150). Cool also started the most games of any Chadron State player this season (25).

A transfer from Iowa Western Community College, Cool has one season of college eligibility remaining.

Black Hills State's Cam Lowe was named the RMAC Player of the Year. BHSU's Ryan Thompson was named the RMAC Coach of the Year after leading the Yellow Jackets to the RMAC regular season title. The other major awards went to Defensive Player of the Year Stewart Erhart from Fort Lewis and Freshman of the Year Shelton Henton of Colorado School of Mines. Along with Colorado Mesa, Black Hills State, Fort Lewis and Colorado School of Mines are the four remaining schools in contention for the RMAC Tournament championship.

Chadron State men's basketball concluded the 2025-26 season last Saturday with a 7-21 record and a 5-15 mark in RMAC play.
