Chadron State College Athletics

2015—Broke the CSC 400-meter indoor record at her first meet with the Eagles with a mark of 58.03 seconds.  Also set the CSC Twilight Meet record in 58.30 in January and won the event at the Birds and Bees Meet in 58:93.   She was fifth in the 400 at both the South Dakota State Classic at 56:58, now the school record, and the RMAC Meet in 57.64.   She also ran on the Eagles 4x400 relay that set the school record of 3:51.98 at the South Dakota State Meet and finished second at the RMAC Indoor Meet in 3:53.54, CSC’s second-best all-time mark.   Thomas also lowered the 400 school record to 56.60 at the first outdoor meet last spring.  She improved that time to 56.37 while winning the event at California State-LA in April. While the Eagles were in California, she also ran on the 4x400 relay team that set the school record of 3:49.59.  Unfortunately, she had hamstring issues and could not finish the 400 or run on the relay at the RMAC Outdoor Meet.
Before Chadron State. Thomas attended Essex County College in New Jersey in 2014 and was a standout in both the 400 and 800.
