Biography
2017-18 Outlook: A hometown favorite who is described by Coach Reed as being “as tough as nails.” The coach adds, “He give us some juice and will do anything we ask. He takes charges, gets loose balls, defends and can also shoot it. He’s hard not to play.”
2016-17: He was at the far end of the bench when the season opened, did not score in the first five games, but persevered and eventually started half the games and averaged 19 minutes in 25 contests. He sometimes struggled with his shooting, but he also was hot in several games, For instance, he was six of nine from 3-point range while scoring 23 points against Westminster and sank five of eight from behind the arc versus New Mexico Highlands. He totaled 109 points and had just one more turnover than assist while helping handle the ball a lot.
2015-16: Redshirted his freshman year.
High School: Played for Chadron High ... He averaged 17.2 points ... led the Panhandle with 81 3-pointers and made 82 of 96 free throws for 85.4 percent ... also had 57 assists and 47 steals...He was all-Western Conference in football after catching 18 passes for 268 yards and leading the Panhandle’s 11-man football players with seven pass interceptions his senior year in 2014.
Personal: Son of Voradeth and Heather Sayaloune ... has four siblings named Brendinh, Jiesinh, Kasiah and Kailinh ... Majoring in Business.
