Biography
2017-18 Outlook: The Eagles’ most experienced player and a sure-fire starter as the season approaches. An exceptional athlete who can do some amazing things on both offense and defense. Coach Reed rates him among the top players in the RMAC. After serving as the Eagles’ point guard most of last year, because of additions to the roster, he’ll play more off-guard and wing this season.
2016-17: Came with Coach Reed from Otero Junior College and had an exceptional season with the Eagles. He shot 45.4 percent from the field and led the team in scoring at 13.8 points a game. He also averaged 3.5 rebounds, handed out 69 assists and led in steals with 32.
Previous School: Polley was the first player Coach Reed signed after accepting the Eagles’ head coaching job in May 2016. He had played on Reed’s Otero Junior College team that had a 27-6 record and won the Region IX South championship. Polley started about half of those games, shot 48 percent from the field and averaged eight points.
