Biography
2017-18 Outlook: Much is expected from ‘Mikey,” as he’s best known. While he’s still expanding his game, he’s so strong that he’s almost never pushed around, “protects the rim,” in Coach Reed’s words, on defense and has a soft touch that helps him shoot a high percentage.
2016-17: Played in 23 games, started 15, shot 54.7 percent from the field and 64 percent from the free throw line while averaging 8.6 points and 4.5 rebounds. Had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds during a win over Adams State.
High School: Played forward at Texas Christian School... won Player of the Year, was an All-Star, and was voted MVP one year... 2016 2A/3A player of the year... 2x First Team All-State selection...He averaged 23.2 points as a junior and 15.4 points and 12.6 rebounds his senior year...He also was a first-team all-state tight end for the football team, was a state singles champion in tennis and competed in the shot put, long jump, triple jump and relays for the track team.
Personal: Son of Michael Wallace and Glenda Wallace... Has one sibling, Mather, who plays at Brock University... Sports management major.
