Biography
2013: Placed sixth in the 60 meters (7.08) and seventh in the 200 (22.74) at the RMAC Indoor Meet…Was fifth in the 100 (11.00 finals and 10.65 prelims) and sixth in the 200 (22.43) at the RMAC Outdoor Meet, besides anchoring the second place 4x100 relay (41.76) and running the second leg on the first place 4x400 quartet that set the school record of 3:14.45.
2012: Had bests of 6.62 in the 55 meters, 7.19 in the 60 and 22.36 in the 200 during the indoor season…Had bests of 10.91 in the 100 and 22.06 in the 200 during the outdoor season…Was fourth in the 100 at the RMAC Meet (10.94) and fifth in the 200 (22.25)…Was a member of both relay teams at the outdoor meet…The 4x100 team placed third and the 4x400 team was fourth.
2011: As a freshman, Brandon had the honor of running the opening leg of the Eagles’ best 4x100 team in history…It set the school record of 40.50 while winning first at the RMAC Meet and placing sixth at the NCAA II National Meet in 41.10…His top times in the individual races were 10.80 and 22.07….He placed eighth in the 100 at the RMAC Meet in 10.94.
High School: Had bests of 10.5 in the 100, 22.2 in the 200 and 52.4 in the 400 (all handheld) as a senior…He won the 100 at the Western Conference Meet and qualified for that race at the state meet…He also anchored the winning 4x100 relay at conference and district meets.
Personal: Son of Duane and Carla Segelke…Born March 3. 1992…A business major…Earned all A’s during the 2013 fall semester and has 3.53 GPA.
