Chadron State College Athletics

Bailey enters his first year with Chadron State Track & Field. Bailey comes to Chadron from Indiana Tech, an NAIA school that competes in the WHAC, where he coached from 2018-2024. During his time at Tech, he coached multiple national qualifiers and helped his athletes capture 7 conference titles. 
 
Bailey competed in football and track and field in high school, where he earned All-State honors as a senior. He received a scholarship to play football at Shepherd University and graduated from there with a degree in Sports Management. After graduation he moved back to his hometown in Prince William County where he coached throws at his alma mater.  During his tenure he advised the state record holder in shot and four state champions in shot or discus. Over 10 years he has coached dozens of All-Region and All-District throwers. Bailey earned his USATF Level 2 in throws in 2017.
