2012: Developed into one of Jonn McLain’s most reliable receivers, finishing the season with 49 receptions for 503 yards and four touchdowns … His receptions and yardage were the second-highest totals on the team … He also scored four TDs … He started every game at H-Back and is expected to be another big part of the offense in 2013 … “He gives great effort every play,” Long said. “H-Back is a tough position because it requires you to block and catch. He does it well.” … He had a career-high 10 receptions and 105 yards in a gritty road win at New Mexico Highlands … He also scored two touchdowns against CSU-Pueblo … He was named All-Nebraska D-II following the season.
2011: Played in 10 games, making 13 catches for 141 yards and scored three touchdowns … During the first nine games of the season he had 10 catches for under 100 yards but he caught fire in the Eagles’ final two games, scoring three touchdowns on three receptions … Also plays on a variety of special teams units where he made five stops … He also had a solid spring, highlighted by the spring game when he continued his scoring streak by finding paydirt twice.
2010: Played in all 11 games mainly on special teams but did contribute to the offense, catching three balls for 17 yards … He made six special teams tackles.
2009: Redshirted during his first season at CSC.
High School: Didn’t play football his senior year but was an outstanding wrestler … Was named the 2009 South Dakota Wrestler of the Year and finished third at state … Claimed a championship as a junior and ended fifth as a sophomore … Also ran cross country … Previously, he played quarterback in high school
