2012: Another valuable member of the Eagles’ strong defensive secondary … He played in 12 games, starting two of them, and has appeared in 33 games in his career … He finished with 31 total stops, including four tackles for loss … “He’s a great teammate,” Larson said. “He gives you everything he has and he does a great job in his spot.” … He had a season-high 10 tackles in the Eagles’ win at Adams State … Also plays on a majority of the special teams.
2011: A hard-working safety who generally makes his presence felt in the defensive backfield … He played in 10 games, starting two, and had 37 tackles and two forced fumbles … He had at least two tackles in every game he played in … Is among the rotation of several safeties Chadron State employs and can also rush the passer.
2010: Played in all 11 games, starting nine of them, in his first season … Finished with the sixth-most tackles (43) on the team … Was also a good special teams player … Recorded a career-high 11 stops against Colorado State University-Pueblo … He also broke up a pass and recovered a fumble that led to a TD.
2009: Redshirted during his first season at CSC.
High School: Did several things well for Bennett County ... Ran for 1,275 yards and 15 touchdowns and caught 15 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns ... Also threw for 278 yards and four touchdowns on just seven completions ... On special teams he had eight kickoff returns for 364 yards (45.5 average) and one touchdown ... Also returned six punts for 125 yards (29.2 yards) and a TD ... On defense he made 50 total tackles, forced two fumbles, grabbed two interceptions and scored three defensive TDs ... Was named the Class 11B All-State First Team tailback and an Argus Leader Elite 45 Selection ... Also selected to the West River All-Conference First Team at tailback and linebacker and he was the Sports Buzzard 11B Player of the Year ... Earned all-conference honors at defensive back three times and he was twice named all-state at running back … Was a varsity letter winner all four years of high school.
