2018 - A native of West Des Moines, Stephens joins the Eagles this season as a coaching assistant assigned to develop the offensive line.

Stephens recently participated in camps for the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers, after completing his college career at Utah State University in 2016.

For the Aggies, Stephens started 39 games at center, garnering honorable mention from the Mountain West Conference all three seasons. He was named Second Team All-Conference by Phil Steele publications in 2015, and Third Team from the same organization in 2014.

He helped USU to a 10-4 record in 2014, good for the second-most wins in program history. One of those wins included a 21-6 win over UT-El Paso in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque.

As a freshman, Stephens competed at Iowa Western Community College, where he led the Reivers to a national junior college title and helped set new NJCAA records of 62.8 points and 598.4 yards of total offense per game for the season. He returned to Iowa Western in 2017 as an assistant offensive line coach.

Stephens' mother is a Chadron State alumna, and he has an uncle in Chadron and a pair of grandparents in Alliance.
