D'Mauria Martin

2022: D’Mauria Martin comes to CSC from the other end of the state, where he coached at Concordia University, Nebraska for four seasons. He picked up coaching duties for defensive backs at CSC in 2022, and coached safety Brendan Brehmer and cornerback Bobby Peele to All-RMAC honors that fall.

Martin served as an assistant on the Bulldogs staff starting after his graduation in 2018. Martin transitioned to coaching after performing as a star defensive back for the Bulldogs. He has worked with the secondary and as a defensive assistant on Coach Daberkow’s staff.

One of the top defensive backs in program history, Martin earned First Team All-GPAC accolades as both a junior and senior. He was also recognized as honorable mention All-GPAC as a sophomore. The four-year starter compiled career totals of 136 tackles, 30 pass breakups and seven interceptions while playing in 41 games. He picked off five passes as a senior in his role as a safety. His three interceptions in the win over Midland in 2017 equaled a program record for a single game.

D’Mauria is the son of Robert and Tameshia Martin. D’Mauria earned his degree from Concordia in Recreation and Sport Studies with a minor in Business.
