2022 - E.J. Kreis is in his seventh full year as head strength and conditioning coach at Chadron State College. He worked as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant from 2014 to 2016.
While he was a graduate student at Chadron State, Kreis earned a master’s degree in sports organizational management.
Kreis, a native of Longmont, Colorado, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise sports science from Western State Colorado University in Gunnison in the spring of 2014. While he was at Western, he also obtained his USA Weightlifting Certification and earned a minor in biology.
He graduated from Longmont High in 2009, and he was a four-year starter at cornerback for the Mountaineers in college. As a senior in 2013, he was selected to the All-RMAC Third Team as a punt returner.
Kreis is no stranger to the weight room. Kreis’ father, Doc Kreis, was the head strength and conditioning coach at Middle Tennessee State, Vanderbilt University, the University of Colorado and the University of California Los Angeles.
