2022: Former Chadron State College offensive lineman Justin Calderon returned to Elliott Field as a coaching assistant for defensive linemen last fall. In 2022, he coached All-RMAC first teamers Tayven Bray and Hunter O'Connor. O'Connor also received All-Region and All-America honors.

Calderon became the 60th All-America recipient in Eagles football history in December when the American Football Coaches Association revealed its 2021 All-America teams. He was placed on the Second Team, capping a successful career.

He was the Eagles' starting left tackle for the past three seasons, and he started all 26 games at the position since 2019. He led a unit which produced the RMAC's third best passing offense and fourth scoring offense. CSC was No. 2 in third down conversion rate and gained the fourth-most yardage per game.

Calderon is a two-time All-RMAC First Teamer, a 2019 Don Hansen All-Region Third Teamer, and in 2018 he was named to the NJCAA All-America honorable mention list while at Nassau Community College.

He received a bachelor's degree from Chadron State in 2021.
