Lorenzo Neal joined the CSC football staff as a coaching assistant ahead of the 2025 season.
Neal began his coaching career in 2022 as a defensive line coach at St. Thomas High School in Houston, Texas, his alma mater, before working in commercial real estate.
Neal played college football at Purdue University, appearing in 38 games from 2017-2020 with the Boilermakers and serving as a team captain. He earned Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors as a defensive tackle twice in the 2018 and 2020 seasons and accumulated 73 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, four sacks and four forced fumbles during his career.
Neal spent time with the NFL's New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos in training camp ahead of the 2021 season and the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the 2022 season.
Neal's father, Lorenzo, played for 16 seasons in the NFL and was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and a three-time All-Pro as a fullback.
